onliness v1.0.1 is an instro-mental exposition of my experience in NYC from 2001-2004, during which I hustled, fell in love, stood in hate, renewed my faith, nearly lost my life, made money, lost money, said f#$k money, kept it moving, shadowboxed, slept, sexed, flexed, made it happen, fought, embraced, let go, pushed, pulled, inhaled and exhaled.

in the creation process, I excavated ancient instruments, ethnographic archives, and found sounds, melding the resultant textures together with rhythms reflective of this eclectic existence. onliness has been described as hard ambient, brick-hop, trancehall, filmcore, experimental exotica- a  mind-state parade of instinct and spirit.

onliness v.1.0.1 is released as open source music. the album itself along with the v1.0.1 audio source files and programming are available for free download and modification. onliness is an evolving project, and similar to software, new versions and updates will come in the form of collaborations, mash-ups, vocal mixes, video collages, and forms unanticipated. where onliness v1.0.1 goes and what it becomes are entirely up to its listeners, users and contributors.
