Self-review: themes in pursuit

Some overriding observations/themes in my entrepreneurial pursuits:

1. I have been drawn to the concept of using technology to decrease the barrier between a thought/inspiration and its manifestation. I am interested in ways to faciliate and improve the creative process/experience and enhance productivity along the way.

2. I am always interested in my own production efficiency when it comes to business - e.g. setting up a business so it runs itself with minimal time expenditure- minimizing inputs while maximizing out puts - the 80/20 Principle - business processes automation and freedom of time/space/place. I've managed to get Pro Sound Effects there.A big theme with me and my bro/consigliere Tim Ferriss.

3. I am passionate about open source culture and technology that enables open information creation and exchange, between anyone, anywhere and on any Internet connected device. This is primarily influenced by my experience at Last Bamboo and working with Adam Fisk. Perhaps it also has to do with the inexpensive, easy-to-use tools I use to make make media, build websites/blogs, and disseminate. Then again, on a more practical level, there is just the shear amount of cool media I have discovered through a combination of friends and technology (and free/cheap phone calls through services like Gizmo Project).
