I haven't updated my current undertakings in over 6 months, so here it goes:
Pro Sound Effects continues to grow with minimal effort. Over the past few months, new developments have included sizeable deals with European broadcasters such as Canal Plus (the "French HBO") and Bayerischer Rundfunk (the "German BBC"). That said, the money is nice but I feel I've reached a bit of a ceiling as far as learning - there are always things i can do but the time input and my level of interest don't warrant the potential rewards in my opinion. So I'm starting to explore new opportunities - not sure exactly what but definitely a situation where I feel I am learning, being challenged, and working with intelligent creatives in some capacity. That is why I've updated my résumé, summary profile and put together a creative portfolio of my work over the years - check it out here .
We're restructuring Last Bamboo to reflect the fact that we've defined a new business direction (cannot discuss yet) and the bulk of the work to do is prtty much all technical development. is still in development-heavy early phases. Adam and Jerry will continue to work full time on this while Yusuke, Brendan and I take a step back and let them run wih the development. I'll continue to advise and help where I can but it will be minimal. On another note, after bootstrapping for the last few years, Last Bamboo is completing a seed investment round right now. There has been great reception in the NY tech and venture capital community. In retrospect I think think the time it has taken to get to this point is all for the best and I am confident the company will do extremely will as a result of new strategy/restructuring.
As for Creative Network Design, Markus is cautiously approaching the roll-out of production music/sound library aggregation and delivery. In the meantime our partnership (PSE and CND) continues to be beneficial to us both as well as clients who need Turnkey NetMix Systems.
onliness and new music: We've uploaded the performance (onliness v1.0.2)from our November show at Samson Projects. I haven't put a whole lot of effort into marketing the album as of yet because I just keep making new material. I'm working on a dancehall reggae vs. minimal techno project (read: "trancehall") right now which should be ready in March.

As always I continue to brainstorm new product ideas, businesses, useless contraptions and general nonsense with people like design/engineer wizard Sherwood Forlee. I also would like to find the time to getting back to my visual work, melting poloroids and graff, but over the years I believe I've learned to focus my mania and prioritize my involvements. Right now that means exploring new opportunities, maintaining PSE, and making beats.
